The Riviera Food Project is a Franco-American mix of media and culinary professionals on a mission to discover and re-interpret food from the French and Italian Riviera.  Inspired by the natural cooking and use of local products in Northern Californian cooking we decided to set out and research today’s Riviera to find sources and inspirations that we can cook and share.

We are traveling the region to visit markets, local producers, artisans and restaurants in order to develop recipes and cook them online via this website.

 

 

Mindful of the enormous heritage of French and Italian cuisine, we hope to add some of today’s sensibilities (sustainability, food sensitivities, vegetarianism, and use of local seasonal products) in order to create a natural, healthly and savoury re-interpretation of the classics.
